THIS RECORD IS THE HOLY GRAIL OF GARAGE ROCK......recorded in DETROIT in 1967, originals of this single have gone for thousands of dollars, and rumor has it only a hundred were originally pressed........nobody knows much about the KEGGS, but along with the SONICS and the SEEDS, they were among the best of the 60s garage bands...
THE GORIES covered "to find out" and may have found their primal garage punk stomp in those grooves.......
both tracks from the KEGGS single were included in the BACK FROM THE GRAVE series, but that's about the only place you could find any KEGGS....although from time to time there have been bootlegs.....
but NOW YOU CAN OWN YERSELF a REPRESS of the KEGGS single via CHICAGO's PRIORITY MALE records.........
i think i'm going to buy myself a copy tomorrow.........
