YOU WEREN'T THERE - the history of chicago punk 77-84 ....is one of the best rock n roll documentaries from the last couple of years. it was released in 2009 and was accompanied by a record of all the bands featured in the film....... naked raygun, big black, mentally ill, strike under, tutu & the pirates and many more awesome bands you ought to know about......
it's certainly an important part of the history of chicago rock n roll if not punk rock in general.....it's amazing that any of this old live footage exists at all.....
it's taken me awhile to track down a copy of the film to share with you, but wait no longer....... enjoy......
