pop. 1280 - the horror

POP. 1280 is raw junkyard gothic punk noise.......  as intense as a bunch of post hardcore kids screaming in yer face, as wild as the most bonkers noise show you've ever been to, and as dark and creative as BIG BLACK, THE SCIENTISTS or THE BIRTHDAY PARY.......

they remind me of the Chrome Cranks, Arab on Radar, Human Eye, Jesus Lizard, the Swans, Flipper and Big Business all rolled into one wall of feedback attack.......Pop 1280 isn't easily categorized, but if you like anything on AM REP, Touch and Go, Load or Skin Graft records, you need to check them out.....  music this intense and engrossing isn't released everyday.   you need to have their recently released debut album THE HORROR now......
