NATURAL CHILD is stoned out catchy garage/punk from NASHVILLE....these kids reach beyond the normal cliche of the genre (which is you try to pretend yr on the NUGGETS BOX SET), by incorporating blue cheer / black sabbath 70s ominous rock vibes into a mix with psych, blues and a bit of country rock......
.....and definitely a heavy dose of ROLLING STONES, maybe STICKY FINGERS or EXILE ON MAIN STREET........
and they didn't name the lp 1971 for nothing, keep that in mind when looking for their musical influences......
fans of the black lips, turbo fruits, night beats, goodnight loving, reigning sound and last year's men will all find something to like in NATURAL CHILD.
