somewhere in the sun fried corners of southern california, MORGAN DELT is trying to resurrect the reverbed ghost of psychedelic pop and scare the world back to that enchanted time in the late 60s where the world seemed like it might just change for the better (musically and otherwise)....... this first full length is an broken-pop analog trance you'll slip right into, a fractured lo-fi reinterpretation of the psych greats, a roller coaster trip through drugged-out weirdo RnR history as if it were all happening at once, a cosmic ritual played out song after fuzzed out song on vinyl where you, the listener, leave yer body and let the vibrations, the high energy warped songs lead you to a place you've never gone before and a place from which you might never return......
sure CAN, LOVE, SIMPLY SAUCER, WEST COAST POP ART EXPERIMENTAL BAND, SOFT MACHINE and others might've have promised to take us into the outer realms of our minds, but most just didn't follow their cues and missed out on all the adventurous music....but MORGAN DELT is here to the rescue, poised to take us just as far as all those killer psych bands of yore.......and the price of admission is one mutant record you'll sure as fuck spin over and over again........
thank god this was released in the winter, cuz when yer stuck at home, MORGAN DELT's self titled album is all yer gonna need to escape !!!!!!!!!!
