HELLSHOVEL is back with a new album out on SLOVENLY RECORDS entitled HATED BY THE SUN....... last years SONAR ELASTICI EP was a fierce introduction to one of my new favorite psych bands and their new lp is some of the best druggy twangy stomping garage psych you'll hear all year.......

fronted by jeff of DEMON'S CLAWS and following much the same off kilter path as his other band......HELLSHOVEL is like warping your stones albums while on a bad acid trip and soaking yr country records in cough syrup....... imagine LINK WRAY fronting a band comprised of guys from the 13th FLOOR ELEVATORS and THE SEEDS..... yep that good.
