sonic youth: the eternal (the re-edit)

i posted a torrent of the new sonic youth LP the eternal here yesterday, and now the post is gone.  i guess big brother got me again.  perhaps soon tinygrooves will be killed by google for piracy.  who knows......

anyway buy the LP, it's fucking amazing.  if you preorder it now you can stream the LP til it ships.....and preordering also gets you dibs on tickets for their summer tour.  so its worth it.

anyway, sorry to matador and sonic youth.  i didn't want to piss you off.  i'm just one of those superfans that's too poor and excited to preorder the release.  i promise i'll buy it......

what? didn't you see the comment that matador records left on your post? i did. actually, it was really nice and respectful. it thanked you for being a fan and supporting the music etc. but it also asked that you not post torrents and things and instead gave a long list of places to get pre-order albums and preview songs.

in the end though, they still shut it down...

yeah, so after receiving a 10 page microscopic print lawsuit threat in the mail from the f*x n*ws co today (for allegedly participating in the i*f*n*g*m*n* of a recently popular movie that takes place in india, and allegorizes a mediocre US game show owned by, guess who... A nice feel oh-so-good love/hope story that, by pure coincidence I'm sure, has given unrealistic hope to literally hundreds of millions of peoples whose lives are, in every moment, just like they are portrayed in that film; carrots tend to stave rebellion or whatever. I digress...) I happened to stumble on a a blog here

that deals with some Q's not unlike this post's...

Realizing my state of intoxication when posting the above comment, I should further explain this as a warning and as a canvas for any tips as far as the effectiveness of "blockers". My internet provider got a letter/threat from 20th century FUX regarding my IP/mac ID which they sent to me... It concerned alleged file sharing activities and such things, of copyrighted materials belonging to the above mentioned mega co... So... Beside the general practicality of avoiding the ultra mainstream media objects, any thoughts on "Blockers"?

anyone thanks you...

this mess seems like a probable extension of scare tactics executed a few years back on campuses mostly to pinpoint the evildoers involved in the sharing of things of the file variety; likely the grabbing at air for the last gasps of breathing necessary to Big B's plenitude and big-ness, evident in the ethical quandary that questions the means of 3rd party entities using far greater nefarious vehicles to produce evidences (for lawsuits in sweden and such) against the anyones' who participate in similar vehicle types, of far lesser nefarious means... Sorry Big Bro, but like, your technology has totally consumed itself and had to harsh your mellow along the way... bummer bra!
