monoshock - walk to the fire (reissue)

Monoshock's "walk to the fire" may just be the holy grail of psych punk madness.....out of print for years, S-S Records has come to the rescue and reissued this masterpiece of amps up to 11, wall of noise, guitar soloing, punk chaos......   


imagine a train wreck of hawkwind, mc5, stooges, dna, black flag, spacemen 3 and most certainly blue cheer spilling blood and cocaine all over yer record player........... certainly monoshock deserve the same reverence we give the gories and the oblivians....... and we need to lose the 'lost' part of the tag 'lost classic' when it comes to "walk to the fire"...


MONOSHOCK DESTROYED ROCK N ROLL FOR THE VERY LAST TIME and no one noticed except a few record collectors and julian cope.....(you can read his love for Monoshock here.)......i couldn't believe this record when i heard it for the first time, it's pretty much everything i love in a record, from the high energy proto punk pummel to the noisy psych guitar attack.......
